Ballin’ 4 Big Bob

 3v3 Tournament for Hoop

Date:  January 19, 2019

Where:  Laconia High School Gym

Time: Noontime Start

Purpose:
Bob Dassatti, who was recently honored at City Council as the Co-recipient of the Bienariz Award for his work with Laconia’s youth, is in a battle with Cancer. This December he has been in Houston at the MD Anderson Cancer Center. This tournament is being organized and run by his family, friends, church and community members. The goal is to help defray the cost of his medical bills.

Registration & Information:
You can sign up and get more information on Facebook “Ballin’ 4 Big Bob Tournament for Hope”. You can also contact Matt Dassatti at or by phone at 581-4678.

Teams:
Based on registrations, we plan to have three overall divisions, Middle School, High School & Adult. We will provide a bracket for any age/grade/gender that has four or more teams sign up. The cost of a team of 3-5 players is $30. Some scholarships are available. Also, if a Team pays $50, they will get a total of 3 Tourney T-Shirts

T-Shirts:
We hope you will reserve a T-Shirt to proudly support Bob Dassatti in our community. They are only $10 each and can be reserved by contacting Karen Champlin at . There will be a T-Shirt Table staffed at the tournament. Please stop by and pick one up!

WANTED:
Gold Sponsors: Our goal is to get 10 $500 Sponsors. So far we have Lou Athanas Youth Basketball League or LAYBL. If you know a business or organization who would like to help, please contact Joe Cormier at or by phone at 520-5195.

Baked Goods: We will be having a bake sale during the tournament. If you would like to contribute an item, please call Karin Salome at 524-7448 or Marcia Presher at 455-7723.

Concessions will be sold during the tournament and there will be a Silent Auction with some great items.

TREYS Only Offers FREE Basketball Sneakers

LAYBL evaluations start this weekend, but before you buy that new pair of basketball sneakers, check out what’s available on the TREYS Only rack, which will be on display both Nov. 3 and Nov. 10.

TREYS Only allows basketball players to Trade, Reuse or Exchange Youth Sneakers among fellow basketball players.  Most kids outgrow their shoes before they wear out.  And with a season of barely three months, youth basketball sneakers can be a pricey investment for such a short time of use.  So, leave* that pair you don’t need any more or grab a pair that you do or both.

After all, we want you dropping dimes on the court … not at the cash register.

Any questions or comments, please contact Nabby Mousseau (528-7609) or Joe Dee (455-3539).

*Basketball sneakers should be in good condition (no holes) and tied together by the laces.  Thank you!
